Multichannel narrowband radiometerNILU-UV, an accurate, reliable, and robust filter instrument for measuring irradiances at ultraviolet (UV) wavelengths. The NILU-UV instrument has been thoroughly tested through comparisons with well calibrated spectral radiometers over extended time periods with significant variations in ozone and cloud cover. Its rugged construction is designed to withstand the rigors of transport and installation at remote sites. |

Aethalometer (Aerosol Particle Sampler)The AE31 Aethalometer measures optical absorption by suspended aerosol particles at seven wavelengths, from 370 nm (UV) to 950 nm (IR). Real-time measurements of particle concentrations can be made with a time resolution of two minutes to one hour. Interpretation of the differences in optical response across the wavelength spectrum reveal information regarding aerosol size distribution, physical properties, and assist in identifying the primary components. This instrument is widely used in monitoring studies involving large scale, regional air pollution problems. |

Handheld SunphotometerMICROTOPS II is a 5 channel hand-held aerosol meter for measuring aerosol optical thickness (AOT) easily, accurately and dependably. Direct solar radiation at 5 discrete wavelengths (340, 440, 500, 675 and 870 nm) is measured and stored. MICROTOPS II can also measure total water vapor. GPS receiver facilitates field operation. |
