The
electrical power industry is in a period of rapid changes triggered mainly as a result of
power sector reforms- regulation, deregulation, and restructuring/ unbundling. As a
consequence, the environment that electric utilities face and the way they operate have
changed dramatically in both developed as well as developing countries.
This international
conference intends to offer a forum to industry experts, and academics and scholars for
the sharing of information and experiences from around the globe on challenges faced by
the utilities in their operation and management resulting from the reform in the sector. |
